Activity: The New Canaan Historical Society 27th Annual Ice Cream Social
Date: 6/5/16

Overview: "The 27th annual Ice Cream Social, featuring homemade sweets, ice cream, music by the Town Band, plus a parade of classic and vintage cars, takes place on The New Canaan Historical Society grounds, Sunday, June 5.  Held rain or shine, the old-fashioned, family-fun event runs from 1-4 pm."

Activity: Celebrate Connecticut Trail Days: A Geology Walk Through Five Ponds

Overview: "Join the Bolton Conservation Commission for a 4-mile hike through Freja park along Notch Pond to Bolton Notch State Park via the Mohegan Trail to the legendary Squaws cave. Return by way of the East Coast Greenway. Meet special guests, nationally known Arborist and Tree Hugger Matt "Twig" Largess who will point out trees along the way, and Bolton's own Ray Hardy who will discuss the story of the Native American Princess Wunnee-neetunah and Squaws cave."
