Overview: "This annual celebration of Mother Nature is a must for folks of all ages. Brain Bradley will be here with his beautiful free-flying hawks and falcons. Learn about The Nature of My Backyard with Creature Teachers and their cavalcade of native mammals and reptiles including a Fisher. Riverside Reptiles’ Brian Kleinman is perhaps the greatest mind in reptiles in our state. Come visit the many friends he’ll be bringing along. Meet a Bald Eagle, Golden Eagle, and more with Horizon Wings Raptor Rehabilitation and Education Center. Music provided by musical wunderkinds, The Zolla Boys. The day is filled with live animals, guided nature walks, information booths, horse drawn wagon rides, and yummy food provided by The Litchfield Lions Club and AmandaBakes. Shop until you drop at the artisans market. Get in a bidding war at the silent auction. The bake sale is always a crowd pleaser. Lots of nature crafts for the kids."

Overview: "The 13th annual festival, hosted by the First Congregational Church, pays homage to the days of yore with apples, cider and a smorgasbord of apple desserts. Other activities include rides, food and craft vendors, bands, nonprofit and community group booths, a car show, and any and every food incorporating apples. The 5.3-acre Green was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2000, a hallmark of the generations of townsfolk it has served as both a meeting place and park."
