Activity: Glow in the Park
Date: 7/3/16

Location: Adventure Park at the Discovery Museum, 4450 Park Ave., Bridgeport
Overview: "Celebrate our country's Independence Day with a Glow in the Park wrapped in Red, White and Blue. With your ticket, you will receive a fun 4th of July style glowing wig and a spinning top that lights ups. Great event for the entire family."

Activity: Pet Parade and Festival

Location: Litchfield History Museum, 7 South Street, Litchfield

Overview: "After the parade, enjoy ice cream at the Turn-of-the-Century Fest. Old fashioned laen games include egg and spoon races, tug of war, three-legged races and more. Pets of any kind are welcome, but all pets must be either on a leash or in a cage."

Activity: WILI Boom Box Parade

Location: Jillson Square, Willimantic

Overview: "Anyone can march or enter a float in "Connecticut's Unique People's Parade." The only requirement is to wear some red, white, and blue, and bring a radio tuned to WILI (1400-AM). American flags are optional, but encouraged. There is no "official" theme for the parade."
